Why might a single transaction redeem multiple money market funds?

When you make a transaction, if the redeemable balance of a single money market fund is insufficient to cover the transaction amount, the system may redeem funds sequentially from multiple money market funds of the same currency you hold to fulfill the payment. If you hold more than one money market fund in the same currency, the bank will process redemptions in ascending order of the 7-day annualized yield. As a result, a single transaction may involve the redemption of multiple funds.
