Why do I need to sign the Kinship Commitment Letter (亲属关系承诺书) before I can collect the remittance funds?

Pursuant to the requirements of the cooperating banks in the PRC, the recipient must declare the specific kinship when receiving the "Family Support" remittance funds from overseas relatives. Select the kinship relationship on Weixin through the SMS link and sign with your electronic signature to collect the remittance funds. WeRemit currently only supports immediate family members to receive "Family Support" payments (including spouse, parents, children, brothers and sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, grandchildren).
