You are required to follow the Bank’s online security recommended from time to time and take appropriate measures to safeguard your accounts.
If you are involved in fraudulent activity, you shall bear full responsibility for any resulting losses.
You may also be held liable for all losses if you have acted with gross negligence – for example, knowingly allowing others to use your devices, login password or personal identification number (PIN); or failing to promptly inform the Bank within a reasonable and practicable timeframe upon discovering potential unauthorized transactions, or that your device, login password or PIN used for Internet banking services has been compromised, lost or stolen.
Please note if you fail to follow the recommended security measures and suffers a loss as a result, the provisions outlined in this clause may also apply.
However, unless you act fraudulently or with gross negligence such as failing to safeguard your devices, PIN or password for accessing the Internet banking service, you shall not be responsible for any direct loss induced.
