After the recipient completes the account linking with the designated bank accounts in the PRC and signs the Kinship Commitment letter (亲属关系承诺书) (applicable to a remittance payment for the purposes of Family Support payment), the remittance funds are generally expected to be credited in your Weixin Pay or bank account within 20 minutes after completing the above procedures. If there are exceptional circumstances* to be determined by Weixin Pay, it could take 1-3 working days for the remittance funds to be credited to your Weixin Pay or bank account, you will generally be notified by the receiving institution (that is, Weixin Pay or bank account) of the remittance progress.
*exceptional circumstances* include but are not limited to the following:
1.Compliance review: When the remittance amount and frequency exceed the limit, you may need to provide proof of income or relationship.
2.Collection agency: Different collection methods have different arrival times.
3.Holidays: Public holidays in the sending and receiving countries/regions will affect the processing efficiency of the banking system.
