Will the remitted funds be refunded to the remitter if the collection of remitted funds by the recipient fails after 48 hours ?

If the collection of remitted funds by the recipient fails, generally the funds will be returned to the remitter via the original remittance route (i.e. through WeRemit back to the remitter's Airstar Bank account in CNY only), and the remitter can check the remittance instruction status in his/ her remittance record in the Airstar Bank app. The time for refund of the intended remittance funds will be 1-5 working days after the payment institution initiates the refund, subject to any factors which may cause delay in time including but not limited to applicable regulation and the performance of the payment institution. If remittance funds collection fails, the deducted handling fee will also be refunded to the remitter (in the selected currency such remitted funds). The remitter can check the status and progress of refund in his/ her remittance record in the Airstar Bank app.
