Thank you for using the banking services of Airstar Bank Limited ("the Bank" or "we"). We will add a "Multi-Currency Transaction Functionality" service of Airstar Bank Visa Platinum Card on December 9, 2025. Please read the "Terms and Conditions of Airstar Bank Visa Platinum Card (Applicable to customers who have activated the multi-currency transaction functionality)" carefully. Enclosed with this notice are the New "Terms and Conditions of Airstar Bank Visa Platinum Card (Applicable to customers who have activated the multi-currency transaction functionality)" and the updated versions of the Bank’s "Card Service Fees", which will be effective on December 9, 2025 (the "Effective Date").
The Bank will add a new fee item for the "Multi-currency Transaction Functionality":

2. Handling fee related to transactions (including refunds) conducted in non-matching currencies as the default currency⁴ but settled in default currency
- 1.95% of each transaction amount
If transaction currency is supported by the multi-currency transaction functionality but the corresponding currency account balance is insufficient: Automatic currency conversion to the default currency will occur for debiting, with a handling fee of 1.95% applied to each transaction amount.
If transaction currency is not supported by the multi-currency transaction functionality: Automatic currency conversion to the default currency will occur for debiting, with a handling fee of 1.95% applied to each transaction amount. |
Remarks:
Only the fee for "Additional Service" will be introduced for this time, while the fees and charges for the existing services will remain unchanged.
Once you enable the multi-currency transaction functionality, the original "Foreign currency transaction handling fee" term will no longer be applied, and the "Multi-currency transaction handling fee" clause will automatically take effect.

The "Terms and Conditions of Airstar Bank Visa Platinum Card (Applicable to customers who have activated the multi-currency transaction functionality)" and the "Card Service Fees" will be uploaded to the Bank's Mobile App and the Bank's website. If you do not accept the relevant charges or the new items, the Bank may be unable to continue providing services to you, or you may terminate your Airstar Bank account in accordance with Clause 12, Part 1 of the existing "Terms and Conditions of Use of Digital Banking Services". If you intend to activate the Airstar Bank Visa Platinum Card multi-currency transaction functionality, you must accept the new terms and conditions.
