If you are a Hong Kong resident, you can remit up to RMB 80,000 per day from your RMB savings account to your RMB account in Mainland China under the same name; if the remittance amount exceeds the available remittance limit for that day, the transaction will not be executed. Remittances to non-China areas are not subject to the above restrictions.
If you are a Mainland Chinese resident, you are not subject to the RMB remittance restrictions for Hong Kong residents, but you need to ensure that your remittance funds are legal and compliant.
