Airstar Bank currently does not charge any fees for inward remittances. However, when you remit funds from other banks, remittance fees and transit bank charges may be involved. If you return the remittance due to problems such as incorrect remittance information, the fees charged by the relevant bank may not be refunded.
When remitting funds, you can select BEN (Beneficiary), SHA (Shared) or OUR (Remitter Borne) mode to handle the relevant fees as needed. When remitting to Airstar Bank, the final amount of funds received may vary depending on the different modes selected at the time of remittance:
BEN (Beneficiary): Beneficiary bears all handling charges, including remittance line charges, transit bank charges and receiving bank* charges.
SHA (Shared): The sender bears the cost of the remittance trip, and the recipient bears the cost of the intermediary bank and the receiving bank*.
OUR (Remitter Borne): The remitter pays all handling fees to ensure that the recipient receives the full amount of the remittance.
*The fee is free for the time being when Airstar Bank is the receiving bank.
