What are the differences between a "Streamlined Corporate Account" and a standard corporate bank account?

"Streamlined Corporate Account" aims at serving SMEs included start-ups as a fast track without face-to-face meeting and submission by hand during application. The bank relies on information provided by the Applicant without business proof required, and conducts company record search without charging any handling fees.

However, Streamlined Corporate Accounts are subject to restrictions:

    a. Inward and outward fund are accepted only through local transfer.

    b. Rolling 12-month aggregate outward fund transfer of Streamlined Corporate Account shall not exceed HKD10,000,000 or equivalent.

Standard corporate account aims at serving all types of companies who may not fulfil the eligible criteria to apply for a Streamlined Corporate Account. It is also an alternate type of accounts that SMEs may choose to apply with no account restriction. Please contact our Relationship Manager for application procedures of standard corporate account.

Both types of bank accounts provide banking services included multi-currency savings (in HKD / USD / CNY), internet banking services, fund transfers and time deposit services.
